My aim as a teacher is to inspire you with my passion for the piano and music, nurture your ability and talent, as well encourage and develop your own love of music-making.
Whatever your age and ability, I will constantly help to expand your musicality and technique by introducing you to mountains of fascinating music, developing your aural awareness (listening skills), nurturing and improving your personal skills of concentration, commitment, and perseverence, and in doing so, hopefully ensure that the enjoyment and satisfaction you feel will spread into many other areas of your life!
I also understand that travelling for music lessons can be difficult with the pressures of school or work. This is why, unlike many established teachers, I still reserve a number of places for visiting students' homes. |
